Hello everyone, I found this one at an estate sale. It's not real pretty IMO. But sure does slice real good. The guy that lived there was in the navy in WW2. From the little info I can find it's german. And says friend. It has shaking hands stamped on it. Can somebody here enlighten me? Thanks.

I have had a couple of CK gardening knives which looked very similar, but without the etch. Can you take a close-up of the tang-stamp?
 
Thanks for the info. I have a odd fellows sword and the shaking hands had me thinking it could be some kind of brotherhood or something. Well I guess it is a gardening brotherhood.:rolleyes: I do apologize for the bad pics. Thanks for the help.
