German Issue utility knife

Here's a good and inexpensive knife that my wife picked up for me at an online surplus dealer here in California. The length closed is 4 1/4". Main plain edge is a 3" Rostfrei blade that is 3/32 at the spine, takes a good edge and shaves hair readily. The 2 1/4" of usable saw has a double row of staggered teeth that made short work of a 2X2 and a 1" hardwood dowel. Both main blades snap open with authority and are solid. The plastic scales offer a good grip wet or dry for me. This workhorse may not be able to replace all of the tools of a good SAK, but this Sturm made folder is rugged and an exceptional buy at 10.00 issued and 20.00 unissued in box.
