Looks like pretty much everything he had was homemade :thumbup: I like to see that. I liked that hammer too. Kinda looked like a helve hammer with a appalachian hammer drive. Moved metal pretty good from the looks of it. Thanks for posting Sam.

That power hammer is an old wrench !! I have some of those ,my grandfathers , but not as large !

Robert, I understand your recognition, but I have seen other photos of the hammer (he has since painted it blue, and changed out a different anvil/dieblock) The head is a hammer the block behind it is wood and it's mounted like a regular hammer head.
