German legal knife?

So I will be moving to Germany in the near future and wanted to get help finding a folder I will carry there. From what I have found it can either be a locking blade OR be operated one handed NOT BOTH. I've always liked Kershaw Leeks, Spyderco etc. Anyone have any ideas what I could get?

Fixed blades with a blade length of up to 12cm (~4.5") are ok, too - I know you're looking for a folder, but maybe you didn't think about that part, yet.
Boker has some ''42'' models (refers to $42a in the german law on arms which prohibits one-hand-openers without a legal reason) which are locking folders without a thumb stud/hole.
I liked the design of the Pohl Force Bravo as well although I haven't bought one yet (i think i have a legal reason to carry my BMs and as of now no police officer showed any interest in me. But that depends a lot on your appearence and the location so.. I'd be careful. At least at first ;)).

Wow! Compared to the UK, you've got a great choice...where do you begin?

I think I'd be tempted with a Buck 110 or 112, or take a look at the Mercator brand; they'll be very cheap in Germany.

There's also a lot of the locking SAK's...

I'm more into traditional knives; there's some lovely lockbacks e.g. trappers that wouldn't be one hand openers.

Good luck! John
