Anyone know where I might get this German Luftwaffe paratrooper gravity knife repaired or buy a replacement locking lever? This version was made by Paul Weyersberg & Co. of Solingen.

Thanks.Bill DeShivs of this forum might work on that type of knife I believe.
Is that something you'd be interested in doing or know of anyone who might and of course, the cost ? Is the knife worth the cost of repair. Thanks in advance for any advise you care to share. There are no parts available for these knives, so parts have to be individually hand made from 440-C steel.
As a hobbyist who's built a few fixed blades, I completely understand. The knife came to my shop, via family member who's late Uncle owned it. He thought it might be something I could repair. Hardly, but I told him I would scout around and see what, if any, parts and/or repairs were available. I gave him the link to your website and he's considering whether to spend the money or not. I don't know if he will or not, but it won't be a problem for him to let loose a few Benjamins. Thanks again for your help. It is much appreciated.Repairs like this are prohibitively expensive.
The parts literally have to be made by hand of the proper materials. Fit is critical.
The knives were not made to be disassembled, so dis/re assembly takes quite a bit of skill.
