Hey fellas, CODGER should know about this. Have you ever seen any soligen germany marked imperal fixed blades before? It's a first for me TIA

I don't know the answer to that question MM. Sorry. And as you've read, the member who specialized in Imperial knives has left the forum, and will not answer our questions any more. Perhaps if you posted a picture of the knife in the Levine forum, he can help.

Yes, I am certain that Mr. Langston has some knowledge of ISC imports from Germany. And Mr. Voyles does too, if you can induce him to return to the forum. I do know that some of the very first knives assembled in the U.S. by many cutlerys early last century had blades imported from England or Germany, and I've seen knives marked Imperial Germany, such as the tool kit knife now on eBay. And the line of Century knives we had a thread on a while back.

Perhaps LT will answer your question here, or allow you to post it for him. I understand that you deleted his name from your post in order to be diplomatic, but there was no need. That you did so does show a good degree of mature thinking on your part, but I hold no ill will against either him or Phil, and I don't think anyone else does either. In fact, it would suit me just fine if both would return to the forum. None of us "own" this forum. All we own is an obligation to treat others as we wish to be treated, as stated in the forum rules. We come here to learn and be entertained. Everone who posts here is important in some way to increasing our knowledge and enjoyment of our shared hobby. Sorry for the rant, but I felt it needed to be said, and maybe some just needed to hear it from me.
