I visited a gunshow locally today, looking for interesting knives that would fill out my modest collection. I bought two pocket knives from one dealer, one was a Henkels 4blade stockman which I did not have a sample, the other was a German made stockman with the name John Russell Cutlery Co, Green River Works. I know that this an old American name that is now being used for these imported knives but I have not heard anyone talk about them on this forum. They may be scarce or maybe I was took?
Seems very nice sawcut bone handle with stainless steel blades, marked Solingen, Germany. Anyone else own or have handled this maker?

These are nice, inexpensive but well made knives commonly available.

Smoky Mountain Knifeworks carried them extensively.

I have one of the carbon steel bladed barlows. Great fit and finish for a $25 knife.
