Get a framelock Kershaw

I've been flirting with Kershaws on/off for several years, never had one that I considered to have good high quality lock-up, always a little lateral play. Today a received my first framelock Kershaw - a Shallot Damascus. The lockup is fantastic.

What other framelock models with speedsafe has Kershaw made ?

The JYDII SG2 doesnt have Speedsafe. But it has a quick and excellent flipper.
 
The OD-1 will when it gets released and there are a lot of Shallot variants.
 
OD-1...can't wait for that puppy!

But the OD-1 won't be a SpeedSafe. Another neat new flipper configuration from Lee. And it will be 14C28N to boot! With a Hinderer lock stabilizer!

The only framelock Kershaw I have is the Tyrade. I can definately say that the lockup on this knife is as solid as it gets. The locks comes over to cover the half of the blade tang, and from there it is nearly impossible to make it go any further over. as I said "as solid a lockup as it gets"!

What is a Hinderer lock stabilizer?

I've had one on order forever. Why is it taking so long?:confused:
 
DelrinFred, here's a link to the Hinderer Lock Stabilizer. It's easier to read than to type!

As for the OD-1 release date, I'm hoping mid to late January. Why is it taking that long? I'm sure Kershaw has a lot on their plate right now.
 
I concure they're my favorite frame locks, and there will be more.
