These grips are up for grabs. I made these scales last summer when I had some spare time (those were the days !). Made them mostly for an exercise doing an inlay. Had the idea I would etch/engrave something on them. After various attempts with questionable results I set them aside. Well they turned up again so off they go for someone else to have a go at them. The contest is this. Post a pic of any Becker knife you own that these will fit with an explanation of what , if anything you will do on or to the inlaid copper. One thing I did learn is failed attempts can be "erased" with steel wool. The winner will be announced next Sunday. The winner gets the scales, hardware and shipping in the USA. By the way the wood is Walnut on Oak. Good luck.

This makes me wish I had a 2 cause on anything else it would look kind of weird having a 2 inlaid on the scales
 
Those are cool looking scales!
I'd engrave Jonny1280 on one side and Beckerhead 191 on the other.

I have a couple 2s but i dont think these would look weird on any full size beckers. the 2 is kind of the flagship, it represents beckers and i think would make a nice logo on the scales.
 
Granted, this is MY BK2... I would probably have them engraved with my Dad's name and send him a personalized BK2 for Christmas. He's a truck driver and doesn't have a lot of interest in material things, but he's very sentimental. He got me into knives when I was growing up and we did a lot of camping trips on his Harley. I moved out to AZ in 2008, and he's still back home in northern, IL. Don't see him as often as I'd like, but I think that this would mean the world to him.

I will engrave my daughters birth day on it because its the first Becker I got after she was born.

One side Connor Smith(my oldest son) and his birthdate, the other Brayden Smith(my youngest son) and his birthdate. Then, id have a nice leather lanyard, with brass beads, made for it.

I would put my Beckerhead number (when I finally get it---no rush Moose I know youre busy) and my Beckerhead Birthday on one side and ask Ethan very very nicely if he would either sign it for me or send me a signature so I could trace over it. I think I might have to save up for another 2 cuz those scales are so pretty, Id want it on a 2 with a mirror finish on display in my house.

I have a little boy on the way and I think I will put them on my 2 I have now and engrave his initials on one side and his birthday on the other side after he is born and that will be his first Becker when he is ready for it.

To be honest..I would probably engrave a sexy lady silhouette into the inlay. My bk2 is just cool like that :D Thanks for the chance !
