Margarita Green G-11 that is. This is not a sale thread, it is a give away of 6 boxes 45 to 50 pounds with one box to each of the first 6 folks to send me a PM saying Congrats on 6,000 posts. If the PM is sent before I hit 6,000 you are out. The PM's must come after my 6,000th post. This contest is for Knife makers that have the right membership. Knife maker or above. Check out the knives, folders and fixed, even some fire steels made with it by clicking this link.

I appreciate all the guys that have purchased from me, I hope you have considered the boxes and pieces a great deal. Good luck on the contest.

Tell your friends about it and lets have some fun. Postage and materials on me.

Now I just have to figure out 69 questions to ask to get ya' over the 6000 mark :D Great idea by the way! Thanks for all you've done!

Due to some unforeseen problems, (my wife is having surgery Wed am.) Please pray for her. I will not be posting quite as much, but the deal still stands. It may take longer though. Unless some of you guys drive me over the edge tonight.

Jim, best wishes and prayers for your wife. Keep us apprised of her progress.

Thank You, she has four bone spurs in the neck and they have to remove the disks, put in bone and plates. They will be going in through the front of her neck. She just woke up about 12 days ago with stabbing pain in the shoulder and one arm and hand totally numb. Took a few days for diagnoses and being shuffled from one dr to another. Finally got down to the problem.
We are looking forward to her having no pain. She might get to sleep more than 2 hours a night.

BTW: I am going to try make my 6K post on this thread.

She is out of the hospital now having had a cervical fusion, 3 bones and two disks replaced with cadaver bones plus titanium plate and I hope on the way to recovery. My grandson after being told about the procedure said " I sure hope they washed those bones, I would not want mud in my neck." He thought the Doctors had dug up the bones.

Thanks to all who prayed, we will know in a few weeks if surgery solved her pain for sure.

Best wishes and still in my thoughts...

On another note, kids are funny!

Jim you are a devious SOB! Knife Maker or above, indeed! Now I suppose I have to go and up my membership just so I can have a crack at another box of your green plastic. When the dust settles over your way, you should apply for a job with the Readers Digest sweepstakes, or some such. You'd be a natural, that's for sure. You bugga you!

Hope all is well with your sweetheart. Sweet Pacific breezes sent your way.

All the best, Phil

Well, I've sent a question to Spark to see if I can upgrade from Gold (just renewed a couple weeks ago) to Platinum for an additional $25. If it flies I'll start hounding you across the forums and threads to see if I can catch ya at 6,000! Knowing you you'll drag this out for weeks to see how much fun you can have. I bet you pulled the wings off of flies when you were a kid too!

You reckon, I can do 36 posts today, I am inside watching her sleep, boy those pills are great. No joke, they are working which is an indication that the surgery was successful. The same dosage before surgery did not touch the pain. Now she is resting.

Have a great day, 6K is coming soon.

I have been thru all the new posts and replied where I felt I could contribute and still have not been bumped up many posts.

Where is 555 when you need him?

I am real glad they used cadaver bones. The worse pain from
the ACF's used to be the donor site in the hip. While doing post-op
checks most folks would complain a great deal about. Their necks
hurt very little compared to their hips. One less incision less opportunity
for infection. We are glad she is resting and seemingly pain free

Thank you for you encouragement, I do appreciate it and read it to my wife. BTW: we have been married going on 45 years, just one year more than my knife collecting habits. She has put up with my sneaking in the knives and adding to the displays. Finally had to build shadow boxes and coffee tables to hold them, then I went to this wall display.

Will number 6,000 come up today? That depends, wife is in severe pain, I am having to do all the cooking, meal planning (she is a seriously ill diabetic) and do her job (working from home, applying payments from insurance companies to my daughters DME) and of course picking up grands from school, baby sitting as well. The morning is my only time of peace. Get up at four, just to have some peace and quite. But my 6K post will be here for sure, better subscribe if you need or want the G-11.
