Now for an XXL version with a 9-10" blade.;)

I got a chance to handle the 5" version at the Gathering and this one really needs to be seen in person. The contours of the grip are super comfortable and provide great purchase. I thought the design would scale up in blade length nicely and 7" fit my intended use. I would think scaling it up a few more inches will work beautifully and would add some additional chopping ability, if you are looking for that.

I really thought there would be more interest in something new like this. Not even a comment on my new "gun."

Kirill bought a 92 a while back - police turn in for cheap.

Good piece, a little bulky but tried and true for sure.

I was just trying to be funny. That's actually a CO2 BB gun! My kids got it for me as a joke.

I'm not sure how many times I've looked at the pics and still all I can say is "wow" Your new pistol looks nice too.

I took advantage of my close proximity to the JK shop to do an in-person pick up of the GBH XL as well as to provide an excuse to visit with Mr K. The knife is somehow even better than I had hoped it would be and the visit was as fun as always.

I hope to have some in use pics to share over the weekend.

Thanks again Mr K! A great knife made by a true gentleman!

Didn't have too much time over the weekend to get out with the GBH XL as I am studying for a big test I have to take in about three weeks (a technical certification for work, the manual is over 2000 pages and about as fun as lighting your face on fire).

I did handle it a bit and used it as a draw knife roughing out a baton for the workbench. My initial impression is that this is kind of a beefy JK Kabar. More to come in regards to this one!

I've played around with the GBH XL a little bit and I am itching to get her outside. Here's a pic or two.

The bag underneath is an oil cloth browse bag I made. I made the oil cloth from an old Oxford dress shirt and sewed the bag.

With a new friend!
