My cell phone is a Samsung Sync, and I can take pretty good pictures with it. I would like to be able to get those pictures on to my computer (Dell Inspiron 1525, Vista Home Premium). The service provider is AT&T. The software version is A707UCFJ5. There is also a Micro SD port, but I'd prefer not to have to buy anything.

I would read your owner's manual, if it's possible it will be in there, and/or find a cell phone forum. I'm not quite sure how else you're expecting to transfer them. Osmosis? If you can't e-mail them or do a bluetooth transfer (again, most likely in your owner's manual if it's capable), then you're going to have to buy either a data cable for your phone, or spend a whole $20 on a Micro SD card. Almost all Micro SD cards come with adapters anyway, so you can use them in oher electronics as well.

Hope this helps

If you have internet on the phone, you can email them to yourself, then open and download them on the computer.

the only 4 ways that im aware of is 1 - by usb cable direct to the computer which will require buying a usb cable compatible with the phone, 2 - by bluetooth which requires buying a bluetooth adapter for the computer, the phone should already have bluetooth capability, 3 - to email them to yourself. this should be explained how to in your phone manual, and 4 - by using a micro memory card which can be removed from the phone and placed in a card reader for transfer to the computer which also requires buying a micro memory card and card reader. i hope this helps,,,VWB.

I have mobile email. It's Yahoo. It doesn't give me the option of attaching anything. How much would a Bluetooth adapter cost?

You should be able to email them just like you would send a picture message to another phone number. Instead of putting a phone number as the addressee use your email address.

You might be charged for emailing them to yourself, if the resolution of the camera is high you could easily use a several MB of GPRS data if you email a lot of pics.

Didn't the phone come with a data cable? I have a Samsung phone mine came with a USB cable, I can transfer files easily just installed the software that came with the phone and connect the phone and PC with the cable, open the software and use it to transfer files.
