Get ready for more ebony (real) wood

Jeff Hubbard mentioned in the 'December Buck of the Month' thread about the Taylor Guitars ebony wood project. Seems the below knives are slated to receive the ebony handles this year.

110 Folding Hunter (Standard & Finger-Grooved)
110 Auto
112 Ranger (Standard & Finger-Grooved)
112 Auto
101 Hunter

After viewing and handling the ebony wood on the December Buck of the Month 112 Ranger, I really hope they keep expanding to other Buck Knives like the 119, 124, Kalinga/Akonua series.

Looks like I'll be getting another 110 to go with my Dymondwood fingergrooved one =)

Back in California Buck used to have a employee who would try and match the scales when they came down the line. I can tell you I'll be looking for 112's that have exceptional grain patterns that match and for the few that are a deep rich black.
