Straight from the latest AARP magazine where Melissa Gotthardt mentions a German study that concludes that people that ate on average of 3.5 ounces of cocoa products daily for two weeks not only lowered their blood pressure but reduced their risk of heart attack and stroke by 20-30%.
I'm so glad I'm a choco-holic! Now I don't feel so bad about having some on hand in my shop for a spot of energy now and then. I haven't ever been able to walk past a Reeses Peanut Butter Cup without buying one of those 4 packs. Its a good thing afterall!
I think that calls for a spot of chocolate my friends.
