How about a another Sptint Run KaBar? The 1/4" 4 the BK25 MACHAX. Damm that would be COOL.

I would be all over this if it was .20'' thick. the whole .25'' IMO is too much. the camillus models at .25'' sucked.

kabar has it pretty good with the .188'' and I'm more then happy with it.

but…. I think anywhere from .20''-.22'' would be the golden ticket.

What knifejunkie1928 says makes sense but either way would be cool.

I would like a Cinci Machax. I think they are 1/4". Been looken along time. Not happening. I like the 4 but is that 1/4" cinci that much better? I wish KaBar would make it so we could all see. Just a wish.

the only the 1/4'' machax is the camillus model. The the cincinnati models are all .21''

I asked ethan at the gathering if there was any plans for a updated machax now that the kabar bk4 is discontinued. He said he has some ideas bouncing around in his head but no plans for any more in the foreseeable future. :(

IMO, convex the edge on the box-stock Ka-Bar offering and you are GTG. Would I purchase a Machax if it were offered in thicker stock? Probably.....but I like it a LOT just the way it is. Or with mods....or a good convex....or the RBK if you want bigger and more badass. Without a full height grind or a decent convex, I don't find that thicker stock equates to better.....and the Machax as it is, is versatile and quite easily packable. Sad to see it being disco'd - but I've got enough of them to last me, I reckon.

3/8 th inch thick, dui chirra, heavy convex
