Get-together at Bladesmith Andrew Jordan

On saturday we visited the Bladesmith Andrew Jordan in the Netherlands.

We had a little meeting and some beer drinking.

AND we were amazed by the latest forged knives from him.

That was a really nice weekend! :thumbup:

I would like to thank you for your kind hospitality, Andrew!

Watch out - it's stronger than it looks!
Its Belgian Duvel beer......

Hell is the correct word... it's called Duvel (Flemish word for "Devil"), it doesn't look like it, but it's quite strong beer.

I love his knives! They are $600 avg for his knives right? Anyone here in the US buy any of his knives?

Looks like a good time! That little curly maple handled one sure looks nice! Duvel is one of my top 5 beers, good stuff and almost 10% to boot! Oh and Jos is right, there is a reason the label says to "pour unhuridly." I recommend it to anyone, and try to use the proper glass like the one they used.
