Hi folks,
A bunch of us are going to get together Saturday, September 1st, at 5:00pm at Vito's Pizza in Sunnyvale. Bring knives! These get-togethers are usually a blast, so try to make it if you can.
Directions to Vito's Pizza, Sunnyvale:
From 101, take Lawrence Expressway south a couple of miles, make a right onto Reed, Vito's is on your right.
From 280, take Lawrence Expressway north a couple of miles, make a left onto Reed, Vito's in on your right.
We will be in the private room off to the right. The room is free, so I ask that we all help pay Vito's bills by buying pizza, coke, and beer, or throw in to tip the wait staff.
Vito's has the closest to NY-style pizza I've found in the bay area, and the regular pizza is excellent. For some bizarre reason, the Sicilian pizza is not as successful, and I don't recommend it. The meatball parm sandwiches are excellent. The sausage sandwiches are good, but the sausage itself does not have enough of the distinctive Italian sausage taste.
See you there!
