Just fried my first grinder (Craftsman 2x42), so I ordered a KMG-10. I can't wait to get it and sling some sparks. It would figure that my Craftsman would go south 2 weeks after the warranty was up.

I started out with a craftsman 2 x 42 also. I was just starting a 4 knife kitchen set and the thing started bogging down on me. I was worried I wouldnt get through that job. Now I have a KMG and use my Craftsman to put the edge on my blades.

Hey Mark.....anyway to slow that little sucker down?

Slow what down, The craftsman ? I'm not sure how they are set up , but I would imagine just reducing the drive wheel size is all you could do.

I may have to try my hand a tool surgery....Think i'll need a nice NScalpel? He HE

I'm excited about mine too. Hope to get it fired up and ready for Christmas morning.
What a life! If I even thought I was going to think about going into the shop on Christmas morning, my wife'd scalp me. In fact, she'd beat the tar outta me for even thinking about thinking about maybe thinking about working down there on Christmas. You live a charmed life.

Maybe if I convinced her to buy me a nice heat treat oven for Christmas (may as well dream big) she'd understand the necessity of working in the shop to test new presents. Or not.

HEy Dave...I took off work on the 23rd just to get in the shop before Christmas....and I took off the 27th and the 30th too!!! Got to love having to burn up your vacation time and the boss not being able to say squat :D

Way to go Brian! I'm lucky enough to have Thursday and Friday off this week and next too, but do you think I'm gonna be able to squeak any shop time in? Ha! I'll be vacuuming and wrapping presents and all that girl stuff while my wife reads the paper and watches old movies, eating bon bons. She has it made, I'm telling you. ;) Has it made.

I'm ready for a beer. Right now.
