Getting a Busse refinished?

Have an older model Busse not sure of the model but it is a fighter 13" OAL, black coating, had a red cord wrap no scales.
Need to get it recoated and rewraped...How do I do this?

Send it to me and I can guarantee a 2-3 year turn around! :D (I hope I beat the rest of these oinkers to it!!!) ;)

I am not familiar with many Busses in a fighter format, in that length that are or can be wrapped. Check it out and it may help you get the info you need. Wish I could be more help :(
 
pbf 8 is 13" o/a. i might know who could hook ya up.
seth murdoch is currently wrapping and sharpening my pbf's.
he should be along.

Is it one of the PBF's or something else? Jerry also did some fighters way back when in IIRC, A2 and D2. These are really on the rare side and quite collectable. Were made around the time of the first Gulf war.

Busse does not offer recoating as a rule since the handles have to be removed and the individual blade tagged somehow so it doesn't get lost in a big batch going to the coater. Since yours doesn't have handles you may have a shot at it. Would probably be best to talk to Jerry. If you can catch him when he's drunk (easy) you might stand a good chance. Or, write a note and attach it to the neck of a BIG bottle of 30 yr old Scotch. This will REALLY improve the odds.

Another option would be to send it in and get a double cut (bead blast) finish. This is by far the easiest, cheapest and fastest option. The PBF's look really wicked with this finish. Would also get a nice factory edge to top it off. Hope this helps.
