Getting a CCW in LA County

Does anybody here have one? If so, how long have you had it?



How hard would it be to get one?



I heard that its almost impossible to get one in LA without an inside connection.



Does anybody have a connection?



What about Ventura or Kern county? If you were able to get one there, could you carry in LA?

As for part 2, you need to be a resident of the county that issues it. Counties generally recognize permits from other counties.
 
Seems like selling and trading our Constitutional rights to the highest bidder would be illegal. I bet my town of 18,000 issues more permits per year.
