I am writing this post from India right now and I managed to get my hands on an authentic 10' khukuri. Now the problem is I dont know how to get it back with me to the US. The blade is really dull and I wanted to know if I could mail it. Any suggestions are appreciated.

Not a lawyer, so don't know the ramifications of shipping, but UPS and Fed Ex seem to be everywhere. Just pack it well enough that the blade won't do any damage and if you are religious pay it makes it.
Mine just came in butcher paper wrapped liberally around the sheath.

There do not appear to be any difficulties with importation of a khukuri into the U.S. American airlines policies on baggage:

U.S. Customs policies on importation of foreign items:

Fedex:

It appears that you can simply pack this in your luggage upon your return (assuming you meant 10 inches, not 10 feet) so long as you declare it upon reentry to the U.S. If it is actually 10 feet, you will need to check with your airline to determine if 1) they will take such an oversize item, particularly with sharp edges and 2) what the additional cost will be.

Or you can ship it via Fedex. They should also be able to assist you with any necessary paperwork to send the khukuri to the U.S.

Google is your friend.
