It has been awhile since I have owned a Sebenza and I am blaming Ankerson for this purchase!!
In some email exchanges he was telling me how much he liked the Sebenza 25. It really made me want to try one out for an edc So I have one coming and should get it by Monday. Can't wait to get this one!!
How much do you guys like your Sebenza 25?? Anyone use there's hard and how has it held up?
Here is a picture of the one I have on the way. Also it does not have the card but the knife is marked B 12 2014 so can anyone tell me it's birthday by that? Thanks. Kevin

Congratulations on getting the 25!!!!!!
I have 5 of them, love them. I rotate the 25 and Umnumzaan for my work knives. For me, I like the option to adjust the pivot tension as I see fit. It has a different sound when blade engages lock bar.
The finger grooves fit my hand and doesn't cause any hot spots.
If cutting plastic cables, cardboard, reaming burrs from PVC pipe, scraping old glue/foam/corrosion off pipes, sheetrock, mud off boots is considered hard use, then yeah, it holds up without any issues.
The slab stamp date is when the slabs were made, I would guess it was assembled 2 months to a year after the slabs. Who really knows, I've got a couple the are a year apart.

I have owned and carried a micarta 25 for almost a year. It is a great knife and I prefer it to the 21. I've used it without hesitation on any cutting task I've come upon and it has performed wonderfully. The action is also incredibly smooth. Only thing that kicked it out of my pocket was the old pivot zaan I just picked up.

It should be in my mailbox on Monday!! I am ready!! 😄👍
Keep the comments coming. Thank You! Kevin

I have been carrying a 25 for about a month now. Although I haven't had a chance to hard use it yet, I am certain there won't be any problems when the time comes. I absolutely love carrying this knife. It has kicked all of my other knives out of my pocket.

The 25 is an awesome knife. It was my first CRK also, and now I have 4 of them, left/right plains and left/right micartas.

You're gonna like it, it is a well-built, robust bugger.

The 25s are the only things that can kick an EDC Emerson (mostly a satin serrated 15) outta my pocket, and I've been carrying the 25s more than any of my Emersons lately.

I've had a left hand plain 25 for about a year I love it. Taking it apart and putting it back together isn't quite as easy as the 21.

Never understood why people have so much trouble putting the 25 back together. Don't touch the stop pin when you disassemble and it will go back together just as easy if not easier than a 21.

It is AWESOME!!! Cut It Out gave me an idea of my first picture of it. How about this for a combo 👍👍👍👍👍 Kevin

The micarta 25 is absolutely my favorite knife that CRK currently offers. I carry it almost every day and occasionaly switch to a zaan or large micarta tanto 21.

Edit: jmclfrsh I sent you an email. If you didnt get it please email me at billy.dawson@hotmail.com. Thanks

I choose to EDC a Micarta 25.I tend to like this knife more than any of the others that I own or have acquired over the years. It's been in my pocket since it was released and has been tried and tested. It's the right knife for me and I made a good decision.I sold a very collectible knife that I had for over 10 years and that sale funded my micarta 25.I will keep my 25 as my EDC and enjoy it for many years.

I carry my 25 more than any other knife. I got it right after the 25 came out. I like everything about it and don't hesitate to use it for what task is at hand. It will be a great EDC for you.
