Getting a Shadow III

at a great price. and boy am i excited. i am a fan of CRK, and also really dig small fixed blade knives. not that a 4" blade is "small" in my book. it will be the largest one i own, but should still be cool, and small enough to carry anyway. i can't wait to see CRK quality in a fixed blade. considering the way my CRK folders have spoiled me, my hopes are high.

I think you'll really like it!! It's a real handy size. I like the fact that the blade is only about an inch or so wide. It takes a good edge. Also, while I'm rambling, I bought a CR pouch sheath and a Kydex sheath for various carry options.

I have had a Shawdow III for a few years, and like it very much. I ended up buying one of the Reeve's leather "pancake" sheaths for it. With this sheath the knife carries very close and high, so it is quite inconspicuous.
