Not sure if this is the right place for this but here it goes,

Im planning on placing an order to Ragnar's Ragweed Forge and wanted to pick up a "Pig Sticker." http://www.ragweedforge.com/HistoricalKnifeCatalog.html

To me this seems like a good field knife because its cheap and I wont feel bad if I abuse it, the only problem is that it doesnt come with a sheath. Id like to buy or make cheaply a secure sheath for this knife, but because of its shape/handle I dont know if this is possible. Can anyone give me some advice or point me in a direction to look?

Thanks.

What sort of sheath are you looking for? Leather or Kydex?

For Leather, Duane of Armoralleather.com comes highly recommended. I've yet to order anything from him personally, but I've seen his work pictured here.

For Kydex, I'd say either Eric from On Scene Tactical or David from BuyBrownholsters.com.

None of these guys specifically have your knife listed as a model they carry, you may have to ship it to them for them to fit a sheath specifically on your knife. Make sure you contact them first to arrange and order a sheath before shipping.

Maybe it's just me, but I wouldn't want to pay $30+ for a sheath for a $10 knife...

Your best bet would be to either go to an army surplus store and see if they have anything there that would fit the bill, and then maybe adjust it a bit, or to just make your own out of a bit of leather.
