Getting Into The Holiday Spirit

I`m finally starting to get into the Holiday spirit. Our car will be done at the bodyshop by early next week, so I can finally start my shopping for Connie, I actually enjoy doing that (probably because I don`t do malls, just regular stores.) We got some good news last week, Target asked Connie to stay on as an employee after the Holidays, so that will ease the stress a little, even though it`s only part time. Also, Hanna is finishing up her final round of the chemo where she needs to stay at the hospital for 72 hours, just in time for Christmas.

Work has been a bit life-consuming lately. I guess it beats the opposite though. I don't think I logged into BF for like 2-3 months. I am actually off today and thought, "wonder what the JK gang is doing".

Great news about Connie's job!

Glad you are getting into the spirit.

I have been doing most of my shopping online - it just makes sense.

On many things, I can spare myself state taxes (until filing time), and the shipping is usually much cheaper than just driving to the stores.

I also like that the items arrive at the house already packaged to wrap in most cases.

Today, I ordered a gift for my wife while I was gulping down a sandwich at lunch.

The shopping is much more enjoyable online as well - with the ultimate selection.
