Guess what.......my wife to be is suggesting she'd rather have no one in the house while she cleans and does her normal routine on the weekends. Thats a good 8 ish ( not to disturb the neighbors too early) till lunch that I get in the building :)

What is the average amount of hours that you spend in the shop?

Cant wait to post my wedding cake knife in the morning. I finnished it today and its hair popping!!! sharp......

wishing you a lifetime of happiness together.......

we'll celebrate our 30th in July, and my marriage is the rock of my existence. my wife has never once complained about time in the shop...and she often joins me at the forge. i be a very lucky boy....

27 years for us in August..it's a hard road with a lot of work but worth it :)

well it's 6:45 AM right now been here for over a 1/2 hour and will be untill around 4:00 to welcome the wifey home
then back until 5:00PM or so then
get some dinner/supper and then I could be here until 8-9-or 10 PM :(
everyone should be self employed  :(

Been married 28 years here, BL. I wish you all the best! I spend whatever time I want in the shop. Basically, I use shop-time to get away from the Missus. She's a good one, but drives me nuts sometimes. Argh! What am I saying!? YOU'LL FIND OUT FOR YOURSELF! MUAHAHAHAHAHA!

Hi
I just turned 30 and have been married for ten years now,Its great. I just started with the knifemaking so I cant say too much in the way of shop time but so far everything seems ok.
Good luck
Dan
