Getting my first Emerson, CQC-8

Well, I traded a Manix CE for one which I think was a fair trade. I have only owned a Benchmade/Emerson CQ-7 which I am not sure is really considered an Emerson. It was a solid knife but Tantos are not my thing. This new one is Waved which sounds cool.

What do you think about this model?
 
the waved emersons are awesome, i have two. a 13 and a combat kerambit.

the older bm versions are not eki's, but they are emerson designs none the less. great knives. got three of those as well.
 
I love the shape of the 8...got a custom waved 8 myself, and it's awesome as an edc. don't think you'll be disappointed..

I have a CQC-8 in my pocket right now. I think I like it more than my Manix. The only thing about the Manix I like better is the uncoated blade. The CQC-8 is a monster of a knife. It really wants to stab/ cut things!
