Getting my first ML blade

Thanks to a couple of Pitdog's posts, I got excited about this little ML blade. ML's shop is pretty close to where I live and my wife contacted him and ordered me this little blade. She gave me this belated Valentine's Day Card telling me about it:thumbup::thumbup:. I'm pretty stoked, does anybody have this model yet (the Short Survivalist)?

right on.. you're going to love it.. Matt makes some sweet blades..:thumbup: i especially like that pattern/design too...

yeah. i agree.. those things are really nice.. i have always liked that pattern and would love to get one, one of these days... my father in law has one in osage.. we usually use it to carve the Thanksgiving turkey..:)

The Hudson Bay is one of my favs. When executed a certain way, they are hard to beat. Stomper makes a good looking one too. So many knives to want....

If anyone is intetested Matt has a blog as well on which he puts some pretty cool articles and his latest work etc !
 
Very nice blade. You're lucky to have such a cool wife. I have a ML and I love it. Not sure what's it called; just saw it for sell here and had to have it.

I understand that feeling. I'm happy to finally be getting one of Matt's pieces, I've heard a lot good things them..
