Getting my first taste. Should I be concerned about addiction?

I scored my first Becker on the exchange last night, a BK5. I'm very excited about getting this knife. Will this be the beginning of a long and exciting addiction?

Hmm you went an unconventional route getting the 5 first. But that's not a bad thing since its the Becker sleeper cell. Most think of it as an afterthought to their bk2s and 7s and 9s. But not you, you went straight to the horses mouth. Its one of my favs. Slices and dices in the kitchen and chops and whittles in the bush. Well done.

For real, man. I seriously put a machete down this week to pick up my BK-5 to do the job. It's faster than Wile-E-coyote's delivery man, and cuts like fat joke on the playground. :D

That's actually worse than mine today, mine only had an 11,14 and 7....and welcome to the club... Addiction is a strong word..... Well, maybe not
 
I have the 7 and 9, with hopefully many more to come,,,, welcome to the support group!! LOL
 
It is definitely an addiciton in the making. I started with a BK2 this summer and I now have a 9 and an 11 with plans for a 5 and or but probly and 7 next month or so adn micarta scales for all of them. It will happen and you will find yourself saying "Why open the mail with a boring old folder when I have 9 inches of BK&T awesome sitting right here." At least this is what happened to me :D.
 
A long addiction is in store. You will go for a maximum of 2 months, then realize that resistance is futile, and empty your wallet to buy every one in the collection. What happens if I don't, you ask. Hallucinations. Example: I have no bk3, 9 or 13 yet, and I am seeing purple flying unicorns prancing around me on rainbows.

You're DOOMED. Search on this subforum for Tweeners. Also machax. Not to mention all the other Beckers. DOOMED I say.
