The 23 of December is my Birthday and I am starting to feel it already. One of the kids sent this to me and it maked me feel better about it. :yawn:

Here is a photo of the 2 grandkids and my youngest son Chris. Chris is the one who has leukemia. Seeing him happy at this time of year makes me happy.

The two small ones fix me some of the fatting stuff. I am not getting just older I will be getting fatter the way its starting to look.

Well there's only one alternative to getting older and I'm going to fight and scratch my way through to another birthday. I'm hoping that all the health issues over the last two years have cleared up my surgery allotments for a long time.

Now that's cute.

I don't ever feel bad about getting older, I've had too many friends not make it to this age. I try to work out on a regular basis. At my job I will often move pieces on dollies that are near a ton in weight, but I don't consider that exercise I save my real workout for at home in my gym, smithy, garage, etc.
Every day that you can get out of bed and do your daily job is a good day.

Happy birthday to you, very soon, by the way, 54 soon to be 55, heck you're only a kid :D
 
Hey I do not worry about it anymore. When I look around and see what all I do everyday and the hours put in and realize that I do more than most kids half my age, I just smile. I guess the only time I feel bad about not being young is when I look at the college girls and I think damn, wish I was their age. :)
 
Ya, it kind of gets me is knowing that those college girl think "Dirty old man" when they see me. But, what real frost me is knowing they are right!

My birthday is Dec 23rd as well. I just turned 40. It had me feeling old until I helped my 87 year old neighbor shovel snow. Happy belated birthday!
 
The joys of getting older, I am looking forward to becoming a great uncle, sometime coming up in July. It is nice to watch the family grow and carry forward.
