Is a beyotch.
Today I got temporarily stupid and dropped the Goose.
I had to have help picking it up. Damn, five years ago I dropped one and picked it up by myself, though it was not a cakewalk then. Sigh...

But then, I am certain none of you expert riders out there has ever dropped his motorbike. ;)

My lower back is alread stiffening up from several efforts to right the beast by myself. I bet I'll really be sore in the A.M. If I had known I was going to live this long.....

I dropped a brand new bike on the first ride in front of a restaurant full of people---I was only 21 and I could barely get the damn thing up off the ground, though it was mostly embarrassment and hurt pride standing in my way:o

Don't sweat it--there are plenty of folks younger than you that are too busted up to even sit on a bike--I work with them in Physical Therapy all the time. You're doing great to be riding and enjoying it:thumbup:

Nope I never dropped a bike . It just forgot to put the kickstand down . Stupid bike ! At least it was just a suzuki . Oops , not politically correct .

That's OK. I tiped my bike over because i forgot to take the dang lock off the forks. Pushed it up off its kickstand, tried to shift its weight to my right foot but the bars wouldn't turn because of the lock. Lost my balance and my left leg wasn't ready for it. Just a steady embarrassingly slow set down on its side. Luckily, i just ride a little 883. That's not too hard for me to pick up. Sure felt stupid though.

The only thing I've grown successfully lately is grey hairs and age spots. So, I guess I'm a gardener of sorts.

Hi Mike:

Yeah, I've done that.

Got overserved one night and rode around the corner after leaving the establishment. Put my kickstand down and got my P226 out of my saddlebag and reholstered it as I got back on the bike. Put the kickstand up, got to thinking about something else in the saddlebag and went to get it. Only I forgot the kickstand was up. The only stupider thing I did was to lay in the dark street thinking about what a dumb thing I had just done.

Oops.
