So, how do you display your collection of sharp objects?

So, It has been a long winter. I work from home and spend lots of time in my office which I really enjoy. I realized that I needed to improve my decorations. I have plenty of Busse Pork, but it was all squirreled away and placed in drawers, cabinets, boxes and the safe. I decided that I needed to kick up my storage and display to the next level. What good is a knife hiding away in the dark?

In my office I have an Armoire next to my desk for office supplies and other daily necessities, with a plain boring side panel facing my desk. Not really rocket science, but I created a floating pegboard display and attached it to my armoire that I store office supplies in. It only took a hour or two to assemble and about as much time to arrange and decide how I wanted to hang my blades on the rack to optimize the space. It looks a little more full as I placed longer blades towards the bottom, but I moved a couple up higher. That way I can lower them down to create more space....because... I dont have a Busse problem..... I had a space problem.

Anyways!

As a side note, I now have a good excuse for not taking out the trash!

I had most of my collection laid on the kitchen island Tuesday night trying to see how much room I would need to display them. I have some old Barn wood and Fence slats. I'm thinking about making a panel that I can hang on the wall, I think I will try some magnets to hold them.

They are not rubber coated, they appear to have a epoxy based paint or powder coat finish. They are very hard metal as well, you cannot bend them easily. I had to clamp a couple in my vise betwen wood blocks and bend them as the are disigned with an upright tilt. Some are my blades are so thick that it caused them to hang away from the board. But by tweaking the hook slightly, they are still upward bent, but only slightly so those thick blades will hang more flush.
