Aside from the Classic SAK my wife and I each have, this is nearly every blade I have.

First up is my most often used blade, a razor:

This is the second most commonly used blade, a utility knife my father gave me when he worked for the phone company. I've had this since about 1987:

I picked up this Gerber when I worked at Meijer Thrifty Acres on Saginaw in Lansing Michigan in 1990. The knife supplier was in changing out the old display knives for the new crop. He was selling the old displays quite cheap so I picked this, the Blackie Collins kniefe, and a Buck Knives "plaque" (not pictured since it is still in my old bedroom) that day:

Sorry for the washed out pic, I was afraid that it may have been too bright for my phone's cam:

Next up is my hatchet that my dad's aunt gave me when I was about 9. It was around 1980:

My father in law knew that I liked Gerber knives from the previous blades shown, so for Christmas a while ago, he gave me the Shortcut. Glad I got it before I read reviews! It came in very handy on multiple occasions, especially while out on a ship as a defense contractor:

Picked up thid Byrd Finch (I think) very cheaply a couple of years ago. Another one with less than stellar reviews, but it opens the mail and whatever else I use it for:

Another cheap pick-up (detecting a theme yet?)

Bro-in-law gave me the BK2 for my birthday. This is the knife that brought me here. Another washed out pic:

Only SOG products I have, again, very cheap:

I forgot to mention taking the hatchet.

Also not pictured are a couple of other small folders I have. a CKRT and a Pelican that came in a knive/flashlight set.

That's a lot of knives!

to take on a camping trip? It is car camping at a camp site so it isn't like backpacking in or anything. Weight not being an issue. The boys will want to help cut wood, so I'm hoping they can use the machete (saw) and the folding saw w/out harming themselves. I'm working on adding a pouch to the BK that will hold a "flint", a hex wrench (for the handles and for use as a striker on the flint), and a P-38 can opener. I hope to teach my eldest how to start a fire w/out matches, but will have the matches on hand just in case.
