Getting scratches out of Damascus

So, sadly I could not cancel the order from DHGate, so I got the knife yesterday. It’s actually not bad, but I’ve found it scratches and scuffs easily with the way I use it. Does anyone know how do get these scuffs and scratches out?

Unfortunately, like I said in your other thread... At the price you paid and the vendor you got it from, the knife is unlikely to be any kind of pattern welded steel (damascus) and is probably just acid etched to look like it is damascus. There probably isn't a way to remove the scratches without removing the finish.

Also, you can use a an imagine hosting site like imgur.com if you would like to post pictures here.

If you can get some pictures of the unfinished part of the blade, like the choil and the spine it would make it easier to determine if it's a pattern welded steel or just acid etched.

Here's an example of one of the unfinished areas I'm talking about.
