Here is my second Busse to add to the family, and it has exceeded my expectations!! Such a great knife!!

They are incredible!! Definitely one of my favorite models! Congratulations!!! I'm sure it will bring you great joy and a lifetime of usage with no fear of it failing!

Found it in the exchange. Glad I found it too! Such an awesome blade!! And from what I hear a rare one... 😉

Thanks for all the warm welcomes and of course pics 😁🍻

And yes standard handles with green/black G10 scales

One of the very few with thin handles

.

Congratulations! That is one of the ASH1 designs that inspired me to send a skinny to Busse for custom handles...

Even better! I heard around 20-25 of these made. Is that right?
Congratulations, that is a very nice looking ASH-1! As you might know, the 2007 SE knives (nine different ones) were from the 2007 Blade show. I don't know for sure, but I think there were probably more than 20-25 of the 2007 SE ASH-1 knives - years ago they were somewhat easy to find, but not so much now.

That ASH came from Busse through the BloodBathGanza of 21JUL07. I received it in October of that year and carefully kept it until very recently. As always, Jerry is very tight lipped as to how many of any were made except those that are explicitly numbered "1 of __", the SFNO LE s numbered "XXX of 300" and a very few others. The 1 of 300 SHBM s, the original HHFSH models: 200 each standard and magnum handle slabs also come to mind. Nice blade. Enjoy!
Pete
