Hey there gang!
I'm just started looking into throwing knives and want a list of knifes to throw as a beginner. Something less than 30 US dollars per knife. No double edge since that IS ILLEGAL here in New Zealand.
Cheers guys

Hi, I just started a couple months ago myself. The first thing I found was don't even look at light knives. The ones I started with are 8.5 inches long. I discarded them for Cold Steel Mini Flights, they are 10" long and about 6 ounces they are a nice knife to throw. I got mine on amazon good luck Mike

Here's links to the web sites for a couple of "pay to play" places in NZ. You might contact them for details on how to get good throwing knives into NZ, what they use, maybe a local source in NZ, contacts for local (NZ-based) knife throwing organization, etc....

No outside links to non Blade Forums dealers.
Read the rules above

I wonder if symetrical but DULL throwing knife is still illegal...

Cold steels would be fine, they are not expensive and should be easily available.

Then move to customs. Not much more expensive but you will have wider choice of knives, paterns and sizes.

I just started and I got me a set of three blades, 12" Gil Hibben hall of fame throwers. They are awsome. I paid 40bucks for them.
