Getting stonewashed handle sand or beadblasted?

I have an xm-18 stonewash handle. Could I get it sandblasted somewhere? Anybody done this? Or impossible..better to just wait for one to come up for sale..
 
why dont you call Rick Hinderer?. Im sure he would do it for a fee.
 
It's not too big a deal to have something bead-blasted. I imagine sand-blasting is similar. There's a local shop around here that's done a some bead-blasting for me for about $10 in about 10 minutes. I'd probably contact Rick Hinderer and see what he says first, due to the nature of the perticular knife.
 
The stonewash finish as it is should be more resistant to scratching. Unless you prefer the look of a sand/beadblast.
