While looking at some CRK, trying to make up my mind on what to pick. It brought back some memories of the 21 which I adore.

I recall that with a few of the 21 models I had. The tip/belly of the DP blade was so close to the end of the handle, it would cut me every once in a while when reaching in my pocket. It annoyed the heck out of me. Anybody else experience this?

It would catch the meat of the finger.

I should add this was extremely rare. Happened maybe 3 times over the period of a few months of edc.

I've only got experience w/ the Inkosi & 25. There is someone here making back spacers for the 21 if that interests you.

Good to know. 1s ssw
I don't have a large, but I have cut myself fondling it closed. Not from the tip though.

Now that you mention it I don't believe it was a tip that was getting me it was the belly of the blade on the rear of the handle! By either reaching in or handling it sliding my finger down.

Thanks for the reply!

I've cut my pinky finger more than once by just sliding my hand in my pocket.
in fact, I did it just the other day... right after sharpening it on the wicked edge.
not like a gaping wound, but an annoying paper cut

I’ve never had this problem. I just tried to stick all five of my digits in there to get pricked and couldn’t touch the tip of the blade. Maybe if my fingers weren’t so fat :D

Only been carrying CRK's for about 5 months. And the DP 21 for about a month but I'll keep an eye on it. To be honest don't see it really being an issue much. I have a nice selection to rotate from so in less it just magically happens I'll probably go without experiencing it.

I've got sausage fingers too. I think it's the belly area. But super rare .

Double post. Damn ads screwed me. Wtf. Hate it. hate it. hate it. Hope it gets fix soon.

Im very close to 20 years of Sebenza carry and have never had this happen. I would like to see other makers make better use of the handles space by filling them with more blade the way CRK does.

I have owned over 200 sebenzas and only ever got cut like this on a large UG that I have. The blade edge is very close to the back spine. I reached in my pocket and finger rubbed against the spine. Pulled my hand out to blood. Was like WTF....First and only time it has happened.
