Getting the Becker BK2 Soon

I've been a member since 2008. Mostly lurking and being absent for the most part. But I had to dig in here to hear what you guys were thinking about the BK2.

I plan on buying one before the month is out.

I can barely wait.

I have the BK-9 as my "chopper" while in the woods with a RAT Cutlery RC-4 for general camp chores.

The RC-4 hilt is just a little bit too small for me. Since I love the feel of the BK9 I thought I couldn't go wrong with the BK2.

All the research seems to be pointing that my decision is a good one.

Welcome to the Becker Forum and Bladeforums. Glad you're here.

Ah, the BK2 Campanion, my "The Knife" by a long country mile. Its one of the best designed, tough as woodpecker lips knives available on the market. The price just makes the buy all the more sweeter.

Me and mine have been through some good, not so good times together, and this is my, 4th or 5th one, I believe. The others, like alot of my knives, get gifted to other folks that are in need or never knew.

Boom! Another #1 post in Beckerland. Welcome! :thumbup:
I think the BK-2 kicks some serious butt.
It's a lot in a smaller package, and while it does very well as a bushcraft blade, it also has some heft and brawn about it.

Mine is going to be the Kabar with the metal extension on the pommel. More like moosez45's.

But ya'll's blade stamp looks different.

Moose has the new Gen 2 Ka-Bar.
I'm still totin' an older Camillus Campanion.
This year, however, I'm going to pimp out a new BK2 myself.

The 9 is becoming one of my favorites.

You'll like the 2, it's a beast.

The BK2 is a beast!

I have the 9 and my brother has the 2. I love my 9 but I have to go play with his 2 every time I go over there. It's a tank.
 
Made in America. Super heavy duty. Excellent price point. There is no better deal out there IMO.
 
Can you guys recommend a better place than Amazon to pick up a BK2? I'm interested in picking up my first Becker knife and this one looks like a winner.

Ah whoops, nevermind. Just read the FAQ and shouldn't be asking this kind of question...
