Getting tired of waiting for the Ti Military..

So I have a Spyderco Military Titanium framelock on pre-order at KnifeWorks. Only been waiting 2-3 weeks and really getting antsy. My impatience is getting bombarded by the Kershaw Spec Bump for $53!!! And it's stone-washed to boot!

So now I'm thinking about canceling my order and getting one of the following pairs:

  1. Kershaw Spec Bump Stone Washed + Zero Tolerance ZT0200
  2. Kershaw Spec Bump Stone Washed + Spyderco Military (either Black/Black or Digicam/Black)
  3. Kershaw Spec Bump Stone Washed + Kershaw Offset Stone Washed
All plain edged.

What would you do? Keep waiting for the Ti Military or one of the above options?

If what you want is the Ti-Mil, then none of the above will do. If you're just looking for a nice knife, of which the Ti Mil is one of many options, I'd take one of the options above.

I've been waiting since I put in my order last September. Patience is a virtue. I feel that when I finally do receive the Ti Military it will have been worth the wait.

Am I missing something though? When did Kershaw start making the Spec Bump with a Stonewash blade? I thought these were all black. And fifty three bucks? Where is this happening? Are you sure that you're not talking about the Speed Bump? Or the Avalanche maybe?

I've been waiting since November. Just hang in there and believe that it will be worth it.

It is a limited production knife. They are only making like 50 knives a month so it will take awhile to fill orders. I pre-ordered one in like October of last year and got a call 2 or 3 weeks ago that it was my turn but I passed. I'm not a very big fan of the military and on the list for the M4 version.

I would put money aside and pre order it and then forget about it. When you get the call then it will be a nice surprise. If you want other knives then by them once you get the money put aside.

There are a lot of knives that I will never have because I won't wait on a model, I buy what they have, when they have it. No patience what-so-ever.

Try to be patient.
I have been waiting on my pre-ordered BM 755 MPR for quite a while now, but at least I am not waiting for an XM18.

I actually pre-ordered mine last June now that I look at my order. Waiting... waiting... waiting.

I got the Ti Military. It was worth the wait. I dropped an S90V blade in it to enhance edge retention. Super solid lock up. It's 44gm heavier than the Carbon fiber models. 118gm. vs. 162gm. The handle seems to be anodized, so it doesn't scratch easily like the Sebenza. It's quite a plain looking knife, but it's all business. It whacks up Twinkies like a buzz saw.

I'm afraid I am like you... no patience. I fear I will not be able to hold out and get other knives instead.

I don't think I can do it, there is no way I can hold out for 7+ MONTHS!!!

I'd stick it out for the Ti Military.
You'll probably end up with one eventually anyway.
