Getting very impatient...

We were told September on the new site, and then 1st of October, how close to the first is it gonna be? I appreciate the time to try and sell off stuff to afford the new line, but nobody's buying, they're all waiting for the new line...

While I love a Busse as much as most, the waiting is ridiculous for me because I'm so picky that I'll usually buy a knife carry/use/handle it for a short while and trade/sell it in search of "the knife" in that blade length/niche etc.

I'm hoping the Fusion NO and the rest of the line will be worth the wait.

Well you can be sure the new site will be up and running by the 1st. Now the 1st of what month/year is anyone's guess. :D

If you have a Steel Heart-e that needs a new home, I am currently running a non-profit shelter for wayward SH-e's where they will be loved and re-united with other Busse knives.:D It's just my way of showing I care:)

Its only been 2 weeks since the announcement!!!;) Seriously.....hang in there....I'm sure it will worth the wait...:)

We are much more impatient than you my friends. The enormous number of options have hung our e-marketing program out to dry! We have come up with an alternative ordering process and hope to have it up and running very, very soon.

Sounds like someone has got a second hamster!:D

I'm glad to hear that Jerry is even more impatient than I am, I just emailed a gentleman that I should probably just buy a 6" blade from (submit anyother than Busse here) while I wait on the NO and the rest of the line, surely I could wear it out/ break it in two weeks:)

You could go low tech and post a check list - print it off, check what you want, and mail it in. You know, mail, those convenient blue boxes on the corner where you can put stuff and it gets sent to other people. I've heard rumors that they even have things called buildings. It's like a big computer that you can walk in. There's a guy inside, and he'll send stuff to other people for you. :D :D :D :D

(I think I just got myself onto the INFI bad list  )

The new book "Sporting Knives 2004" is out at the bookstores and under "Busse Combat" they show pictures of a Battle Mistress and Steel Heart (with slotted screws on the handle)that must be 10 years old or more with prices under them. I guess they couldn't get any new info either.

How long have y'all been waiting for the new, updated website? I swear I was on the site a year ago and nothing has changed. . . . . .

Geez, these are just the kind of comments that I need right now.

What did I ever do to you? ;)

When I was manager of Metering Services for a large utility I learned very quickly to apply a fairly large multiplier to any estimates of completion date and cost for any type of software development or enhancement. I finally settled on 2-1/2 as giving me a fair shot at reality. Sometimes it was enough, sometimes it wasn't, but very seldom if ever was it too small. And this was at a company within a holding company, with vast IR resources. And if multiple programmers were involved, jack the numbers up even further.

I know that there is much less bureaucracy to deal with at a small company, but programmers are the world's greatest optimists when it comes to giving estimates on project completion dates.

One thing I know for sure, Busse Combat is enjoying this wait much less than any of us are. I am sure that frustrating customers is not in their company strategy and they are trying hard to get the new models up on their site. Meanwhile, I am still managing to pick up something nice from one of y'all "fundraisers" occasionally, so it isn't all bad.

That sucks! But I am not suprised, I put little stock in books like that when I am trying to find info, especially since we now have the internet.
