got my D&D light bracket from GG&G today ($40.26 w/shipping) and i put it on my pre-ban M4 colt carbine, w/a surefire Z2 w/a M2 bezel from a buds surefire i borrowed (gotta order a replacement from SF!!) and took it out and shot it last night, and it ROCKS!! on/off button works fine, was worried would be 'clumsy' to manipulate, but great!! tried my M3 SF and it a little too big, looks funky, works fine, but Z2 looks 10X better. and it really lights up the area, helps a bunch w/aiming, was the first time i have shot a rifle w/a light at night, would work GREAT for deer hunting, but, i dont think the game wardens would dig it lol. this is really an economical way to put a light on an M4, esp if ya already have the light, and really works good. am 100% satisfied w/this product. was gonna get a end cap from sableco w/a 'pad' to push to turn the light on/off, but i dont think thats necc really, it works fine as is.

if ya have been wanting to put a light on your M4, and the $350 or so price of the SF M500 scared ya off, try this, it really does work great, esp for the $$$$$- oh, and easy to install, had to trim the heatguard in the front foregrip lower (what is the trick to remove the forend on M4's, there has to be one, was a witch to do!!) for clearance, but other than that just bolt it on w/some loc-tite!! simple!! took MAYBE 20 minutes, lots of that was finding tools/etc. whoever invented this had a great idea imho.
