GG&G 'hawk.

It's an interesting design, made of an excellent steel for the application.

Don't think I like the cut-out in the head though.......just a hole for debris to get caught in, possibly entrapping the tool. If it was offered sans cut-out, it might be a decent design.

.....and, I'd like to see an actual picture of the hawk.....not a computer generated version.

It's a heavy hawk, nearly 3 pounds with 0.400 S7 stock. I don't get the cutout blade, either, but a full blade would probably take it over 3 pounds. I also don't like the short handle. It's even shorter than a Vtac. I think it's too heavy to be a fighting hawk and the handle is too short to take advantage of that heavy, .400 stock.

Is this some kind of pre-order? Why do they not have a pic of the finished hawk,Instead of a bad photoshop? Is the handle G10 or is it micarta? Because I for one have never heard of G10KG Micarta. Sorry something just strikes me odd about this one.

The hole needs to be filled, err, never cut in the first place, and the handle needs to be at least 3 inches longer. and about $60.00 less.
