I picked up a perfectly good Gladius from Knife Hunter (thank you, Trevor!), plus a perfectly awesome Leatherman Sheath that KH had custom-made. It took a college degree to figure out how to put all the belts together, and apparently it can be put in other configurations, too, but the over-the-shoulder thing works for me just great.
My cellphone with poor lighting just doesn't do the leather justice. It is one fine piece of cow.
BUT, anyone who knows me, knows that I can't sleep until I convex (and usually thin) any new Infi that comes my way. At some points I thought I had bit off more than I could sand, but fortunately I am a form-follows-function guy, and I am really pleased with the "working-blade" results. Worst case scenario was wait for my Kalamazoo sander that is my birthday present in July, but now I can "beat it silly" right away!
Ladies and Gentlemen, I give you, "GHETTIUS SLUMBLADE:"
I chopped a little on the dead tree in my backyard, and I gotta say, there isn't anything like it! It is like swinging a sharpened baseball bat! I am just lovin' life with my new user! Next step: whack some really thick hemp rope.
