With the white micarta- blued blade with full tang and awesome kydex sheath... I acquired it years back and it has sat in the safe since. I am not sure of the value if any... I won't use it unless its value is too low to keep new. I know it was one of very few made to completion. Nice blade

I remember Gurkha House. I still have a couple of khukuris from them. They were good knives, but I think they were basically just private label Khukuri House khukuris. GH was a flash in the pan and I don't think they really developed that avid a following. I wouldn't expect your WWIII to be worth all that much.

That said if you have other khukuris there is no need to use your WWIII. Who knows, it might be worth a lot to the right person. Better to keep it pristine as it is was an unusual design and may be of interest to collectors someday.

Kamagong- are you familiar with the knife at all? It was custom- had a full tang - high polish - this one had a blued blade- thay had custom high dollar sheaths and custom handles- it is not a run of the mill affordable kukri... I think they were 300.00 back then I will try ta get pictures later

I remember the knife. It wasn't my cup of tea, but a couple of us like Berk and I were around when Craig was offering them.

Store it or use it, it's your knife. All I'm saying is that because GH was so short-lived not many people will be familiar with its products. That will limit the number of people interested in this model because very few will have known of the project.

There's only one way to find out its worth--sell it. Only the marketplace will determine its value.

I have one with blued blade and black handle. Never used it. AFAIK, none of the dozen or so that were made have ever come on the market, so there are no comparables. Put it up on eBay with good clear pics, set a reserve you can live with, and see what it brings.

Like I said I Like it. Its a good knife with some great features. I imagine I will start using it if there is no significant value to others. I have memories of the knife and they are made extremely well and those reasons I can appreciate and value. I will enjoy it for what it is. I would still like any educated guesses on value and the lack of others for sale is one reason I asked if anyone had an idea.

On ebay kukris have values as a user or as a collectable, that usualy requires, age, history, military use or exceptional provinance to a individual to give it its value.

Or an avid group of current Brand name purchasers. {Think Nike or whater in Trainers.}

GH probably no longer fills any of those catogaries if you like it keep it ,use it or not as you wish. In todays American financial situation I dont think you would recover $300 for it. with paitence You can get antique kukri like this for that sort of money.

oh here is a pic- not a great one but I had it out for a picture for another thread on a gun forum where kukris came out to play

I have the twin to yours tallpaul. IIRC I paid 250 for mine. Got it and noticed a hairline crack in the sweet spot (only on one side though). I contacted Craig trying to return it for my money back because of the crack. NO GO, not much for customer service.:thumbdn: All that said, I love the blade and have given it a light testing and the crack seems to go nowhere so it seems sound.
I would treat it how you feel. It is a cool khuk. You might be able to get what you paid for it on the forums. Worth a try if you were so inclined.

archangel... thanks! I see it worth the 2-300 as a user... it is bad :D the sheath is awesome and it will be even better than the several basic kukri's I have that I play with I believe. I just didn't want to hurt the value if there was one since there is not much like it out there. I know very few came to fruition. I was there from the start. I do like it. Likely won't use it for a while yet unless WWIII does start soon ;)
