I just read a rather unsettling post in GH forum from Fred at Knife Outlet. I had ordered a WW III and paid a deposit when they were first announced. I understood that it was a bigger project that Craig had anticipated and was very patient. Craig never once contacted me---not even to say he had received my deposit. I did get several emails from Craig but they were always in reply to mine and were always of the nature that they were almost done. I was always polite and never pressured him. The last one I got was probably over six months ago saying that the last batch were going out for sheaths. Now the email is undeliverable, the phone is disconnected and I read Fred's post that Craig has moved to California to pursue something else. This after Fred had dropped GH products because his orders weren't being filled. There were some posts to the affect that Craig my have been called up by the Marine Corps Reserves. If thats the case, I can live with that but Fred's post made me a little nervous. Anybody have any ideas about what to do? Does anyone remember if Mike Sastre was making the sheaths? If so, maybe he could tell us what happened to them?
