At Blade 2012 I bought an SR1 from the LionSteel booth. I was told that it was not the same steel as the other SR1's available, that it was an experimental steel, but that I could buy it at the same price as the others available. It was not drilled for a clip, which was ok with me because I usually remove clips anyway. It is an outstanding knife and is my carry knife most days.

I do not remember what the steel was. Do you remember this knife and could you tell me the steel? Thanks.
