Giant calipers

Wow. I've got some 24" digital calipers someone unloaded on me. Haven't used them... yet.
 
I bought a surplus digital rail readout for things like table saw fences and mat board cutters. It was effectively a 36" long caliper.

Proper Vernier those. :thumbup: Can't go out of whack because of a chip in a gear or a drop of coolant somewhere, which IMO makes them the best (though very old school) for large measurements like that. You wouldn't believe the young machinists today who can't even read them, lol...
