A 33 lb pussy cat in China ... big cat... or a big lunch? :p

Here is the story:

That cat eats more than I do...no, seriously. 6 pounds of chicken and pork a day?

What is the owner thinking? I'm surprised that poor cat made it to nine years old. I'm also surprised that the cat only weighs 33 pounds. Again...it eats more than I do, and I've got about 200 pounds on it. Think about that.

Dear lord.

A writer for the local newspaper had a 36 lb. Persian, but it was a BIG cat in all respects - tall, long, big feet.

It intimidated the heck out of the family dog. They had to feed the dog in a separate room or the cat would take it's food. BIG traction masters.

The long hair increased the impression of size.

Unlike the Chinese cat, this one could jump up on the kitchen counter and liked to bat its favorite toy around the house - a tennis ball. Sounded like stampeding cattle. They had to replace the tennis balls 'cause it would eventually chew them to pieces.

Cat's name was -- of course - "Tiny." They had picked the biggest in the litter, but thay had no idea what the final result was going to be.

A buddy of mine used to have a Maine Coon cat, named Strider of Arragon.
Strider would come up behind me, while preppin his food, and put his forepaws on my back pocket, I wear a 30 inseam.
That was a damn big Furrhead.

The cat from china.....

Ha!

My sister's cats will eat those for lunch. 160lbs and 45lbs. respectively. She runs a big cat rescue facility so we have big kitties around all the time.

I really wanted to animate the text around the outside, but I'm not so good at animating. Unfortunate.

Glad to see someone got it.

Wonder if anyone is breeding cats to be small.

The spanish and portuguese cats I've seen are pretty small by nature. There are a lot of stray dogs in both countries, but anytime a dog sees one of those tiny cats, they get away from them as quickly as possible. Those cats sure know how to fight, and they wont let anyone touch them apart from their owners. I like them.

I got it as soon as I first saw it, but I worried it would make you want to change avatars again - since your AYB one didn't last long after I pounced on it. ;)

I have a 17 lb cat. She's not fat, she's one of those big all around cats. Very old though...15 years old...she's a tough cat though.
