my knife's liner lock is very difficult to disengage. advice?
giant mouse is not responded to my e-mails

use a pencil to get some lead on the the liner where it contacts the blade. That can help with lock stick as it breaks in

If you are are comfortable with disassembly, polish the mating surfaces.

So was mine. I disassembled it and (very carefully, very lightly) ran a ceramic rod over both surfaces. don’t overdo it…..it doesn’t take but a few strokes and the issue is resolved.

The pencil trick works very well for getting a sticky lock moving, you'll probably have to do it a few times. Another super quick way is to clean the lockface with rubbing alcohol on a paper towel (you don't have to disassemble to do this). Any oil on the lockface can cause bad lock-stick on some liner/framelocks.
